Robyn L Hawkins DC BCAO

While going to school at the University of South Carolina-Aiken pursuing a Nursing degree, I worked at a chiropractic office part-time. The changes I saw in every patient helped me to quickly discover that chiropractic was my true calling due to its ability to get people well with traditional medical interventions, like medication and surgery. I switched paths and enrolled at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. I completed the intensive 3.5 year program and earned my degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic. After graduation, I returned to Brantley Chiropractic in North Augusta, SC where my journey originally began.

I am now board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and hold additional certifications in various techniques. While in school, I extended my studies and took additional courses to better care for patients of all ages with a wide variety of needs. I became certified in the Webster technique specifically created for pregnant women as well as took advanced courses on adjusting infants and children through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). In addition to these, I have an additional 150-hour course taught by the technique’s founder, Dr. Roy Sweat, to become board certified in the Atlas Orthogonal technique. This is a gentle, precise, scientific technique used to adjust the upper cervical spine.

My overall mission as a chiropractor is to help my patients discover a means of wellness-based, patient-centered healthcare. Helping my patients enjoy the things they love by actively participating in their health is my ultimate goal. Helping others in a proactive, non-invasive way is the most rewarding aspect of being a chiropractor.

I was born and raised in the CSRA, growing up in the small town of Jackson, South Carolina. While away attending school in Spartanburg, SC, I knew bringing my passion back home was the best way that I could give back to my community. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, exercising, and traveling. I feel very blessed to be back and am very excited to serve North Augusta and the surrounding area.
